Pictured Floor Plan: A home in the
Texas Hill Country based on the Spanish and German heritage of the
region. Limestone walls both inside and out. Standing seam metal roof.
Oak and tile floors. The main house is composed of four individual
units linked by a long porch that is partly enclosed and partly screened.
The study, studio and garage form a separate outbuilding, creating
a protected compound. A dog trot breeze way separates the studio and
garage. The building forms and the overall compound are unified by
Renaissance proportioning systems, especially the Golden Mean rectangle.
